How I save $129 Monthly With Canva Pro

I normally hate paying for subscriptions. I almost always find ways to avoid paying for them. I was pleasantly surprised when I researched and learned more about Canva Pro. After reviewing the benefits of going pro it seemed like a no brainer with all the benefits that come with a pro subscription for only $12/month.

Stock Images

I use stock images for a number of reasons as a marketer. I use stock images for images for blog content, social media posts, newsletters, and web content. I generally use platforms like Shutterstock or others when I can’t find what I want on Shutterstock. A 25 credits plan with Shutterstock costs $89/month while a similar plan with Adobe Stock will cost $69.99/month. A Canva Pro plan includes stock images and they have a large selection of photos that will be sufficient for most marketers.

Social Media Scheduling

I use Buffer to schedule and manage social media content for several social media accounts. To manage more than three accounts you need to upgrade to a paid version. The essentials plan charges $5 per channel/account. I manage content for 6 social accounts which is $30 per month. Buffer offers more advanced features than Canva’s social media scheduling, but for basic scheduling Canva Pro works just fine. Canva currently doesn’t support scheduling to Instagtam stories, Reels, and some other Instagram features. For my business I don’t use these features so this wasn’t a big deal to me. Using Canva Pro saves me $30 a month for social media scheduling. I prefer to schedule content on one platform instead of logging in and scheduling content on multiple platforms.

Cloud Storage

Canva Pro includes 1 TB of cloud storage. This can save you if you’re currently subscribed to a cloud subscription service. My free Dropbox subscription is currently at capacity and I’ve been looking to make the upgrade. An upgrade would’ve cost me $10/month, instead I chose to go with Canva Pro.
